According to the boss Benitez the draw yesterday against Man City was a fair result, a game we could have won and a game we could have lost.
Speaking about the game Benitez said
“It was difficult. We were working very hard, we had control. I thought we could win, we could lose. Very close. At the end maybe a draw is fair.
As a manager you have to see your team as strong in defence, in attack we have to be a little bit better. Both teams were working hard trying to stop the other.”
There are some positives from the game, Torres back is of course one and the fact that we never conceded a goal is another but with just 11 games left in the season and one point separating four teams for the fourth spot it is wins we need now.
Man City were there for the taking and in all honestly we are disappointed that we never took advantage.
But we never lost and City never won so overall we cannot be too disappointed can we?
